I graduated from Bolton University in 1990 in Computing and started my IT career at The Software Partnership in Runcorn (UK). This company is now known as Fidelity National Information Services - FIS (formerly eFUNDS) having been taken over by Deluxe Data in 1994.

I now work for ITL in Salford Quays (Manchester, UK) as an IT Manager in the field of HP NonStop (formerly Tandem Computers).

My main areas of expertise are; BASE24, XPNET, COBOL85, TAL, TACL, NonStop SQL, NonStop C/C++, HP NonStop and GUARDIAN.

My hobbies are; Golf, Badminton, Tennis, Movies and Web Technologies.

I currently live in the north of Bolton (UK) with Sarah and daughter Freya.

I am recording a Photographic Timeline of the MediaCity:UK Salford Quays Development which will become home to 5 departments of the BBC in 2011 :
